I got the $99/year plan from Freedom last year BF. The plan just got renewed this week and I am already seeing 5GB of data has been used out of the 55GB yearly allowance. Is anyone experience the same situation?

Thats sounds so fishy, not sure how they will give the bonus on April if by default we all have used 5GB to begin with.

I checked my account on Dec12, and see my usage is 6.11G (https://imgur.com/a/UqCjYct)

My billing cycle is from Dec 4 2023 to Dec 4 2024. It means I only use the plan 9 days.

Let's say Freedom mobile does not give 5G data anymore, the actual usage is 1.11G (6.11 -5). The problem is my usage is way less than 1.11G.

It’s only useful if you knew/report what is was before renewal given it’s a spare line.

Anyways, I reported the glitch to freedom for escalation. Advised they should either resolve and communicate to clarify before people start reporting to CRTC as the communication implied 10 percent data upgrade to all plans which is permanent.

So flood freedom support with the issue and make some noise so it gains traction for resolution. 50GB rolled over to zero. Not 55GB.

I don’t quite follow? This spare line was the $99/year offer with 50gb that received the 5gb bonus (via text message) last year which is what the thread is discussing. I had probably used a total of 5gb prior to the annual renewal which was several weeks ago. The 5gb bonus on this line did not fall off so it could very well be a glitch for some customers.

For those people who are complaining about the 5GB used data, I am very willing to buy your $99/50GB plan in a heartbeat and help you not stressing out.

This is around the time Freedom gave existing customers bonus data. It was reported by a few on here that customer service reps said the bonus data would refresh when it was given.

Last post, mine was in dec and he/she posted in may.
Thats all.
And I have this plan and aware all these things.
